Maisy Hoffman, PR Manager

Senior PR manager Maisy Hoffman – also known Mason or Maz (the A sounds like it does in the word “at”) – takes pride in herself for getting out there and trying something new. She has been on staff for three years, two of which were spent as photo editor, but now she has passed the torch to one of her good friends Jonas Quirin and is in a different leadership position. Maisy loves action sports, she spends a lot of her time watching snowboarding videos online and thinking of ways she can bring similar shots to life someday through cinematography. She enjoys viewing life through the lens of a camera. She hopes to find herself somewhere in the mountains for college, studying advertising and/or video production.

Senior Amanda Merz dribbles the court in a practice on Tuesday, Dec. 2. Merz averaged 4.9 points per game as a sophomore, 11.9 as a junior and will carry the scoring load in her senior season. "I was more of a passer and more of a role player my sophomore year and then became a little more of a scorer my junior year, but now since Taylor [Craymer] and all them graduated, I'm definitely more of a scorer and everybody is looking to me to make the play," Merz said.

Captain Alex Priese and his team of angles speed down the course with the finish line in sight. “I’m so happy for Alex that he gets to have this experience and that he gets to feel what it feels like to be pushed in a race and go through the finish line and have people cheering, and clapping and you know calling his name” Richardson said.

After the exciting race, participants headed behind Old Boys for the My Team triumph awards ceremony. Captain Alex Priese was awarding with is metal with assistance from his angles.

Teacher Derek Warner stands in front of the crowd to hand out medals to the participants. Each captain was awarded a gold medal and a cup to congratulate them for their hard work.
