Junior Olivia McMullen goes up for a key put-back in a clash against Forest Hills Central. She will look to own the boards against the Rams tomorrow.

What: The Lady Bucs travel to Rockford Friday to face the Rams in a tough conference clash. Their last time out, the Bucs beat a tough West Ottawa team in a close game thanks to defense and will look to do the same on their away trip. The Rams are a big conference foe, and the Bucs are going into the game with lots of motivation and confidence in securing an away win in their rigorous O.K. Red schedule.

They Said It: “Rockford has always been one of our biggest rivals in the O-K Red,” junior Anna Strom said. “We’re really looking to take a step further against Rockford and push up our rank in the conference.”

Keys To Winning: The Bucs will have to “play their own game” and come out with a strong start to dictate the momentum and pace of the rest of the game. If they are able to get in front of Rockford early, they can suffocate them with their press and execute their sets, and ultimately leave Rockford with a win.
