Ski team looks to capitalize on added depth this season

Last year: Junior Mitch Bosgraaf went to states hoping to place and is hoping to go back again this year. The team is strongest in slalom and the main week point of the team was in GS but as the year progressed they started to improve on their times.

This year: Top skiers going into the year are junior Mitch Bosgraaf, who is hoping to make another state appearance, and junior Jack Hardebeck is hoping to join him this year. Bosgraaf, Hardebeck and Duncan Elmer, the top three skiers, all have been working throughout the of season to come back stronger than ever and achieve the goal of states and improve their times throughout the year.

They Said It: “[We’re] expecting to have a extremely talented team and hopefully get the whole varsity team to qualify for states,” Hardebeck said.
