Senior Addy Wachter joined the Blade staff last year and loves being the photo editor. She is looking forward to better understanding her camera and developing her passion for photography in the world of photojournalism. In the coming years, she hopes to dive deeper into the realm of photojournalism and continue learning at Central Michigan University in the fall. During Addy’s free time, she enjoys playing soccer, running track, hanging out with friends, traveling with her family, and taking photos. Ideally, at the end of her life, she would have traveled to every continent and would have worked for a major newspaper. She is super excited about what is next to come.

Seniors Adam Wassell and Alec Slaggert turn to each other smiling and laughing as their diving coach, Scott Klempel, talks about them, all the impacts they have made and all the memories they have created throughout the last four years. I have to talk about these guys together because they are the best divers to pass through Grand Haven, Klempel said. They made me say that.

Sincerely, seniors

Houle passes the ball in the Bucs Pride game against Spring Lake on Friday Dec. 20. Obviously, Im the coach, but she has played a lot of high level basketball and knows the game so well. I think she is a natural leader, Kowalczyk-Fulmer said.

Donna and the Dynamos get back together and perform during the party before the wedding. I just want to make a lot of people smile, Bates said. I want other people to feel inspired. It is okay to put yourself out there. Her song is I Have a Dream and I want other people to have a dream.

SENATE SETUP: Senior senate member Hannah Brackenbury along with senior Paige Beland make a homecoming poster to go along with the other decorations spread out between the pods. This is a yearly tradition where the different graduating classes decorate a designated pair of pods with hopes to gain bragging rights over the other classes and Student Senate as a whole.
